Vastu Tips for Kitchen

1.    Direction & Location

The kitchen should never under or above a pooja room. The South East corner of the house is ideal for kitchen The stove should be placed in the South East direction and a few inches from the main wall. The dining table should be placed in the west or North West direction. Extension of kitchen space in L shape is advisable. The wash basin should be in the North – East corner of the room. The right location choice for a refrigerator is South or South East.

2.    Ventilation

Proper ventilation is the most important feature of a kitchen. Add windows and air vents in the west direction of the kitchen. Add exhaust fan to the room it helps to keep the indoor air fresh.

3.    Storage area

Make use of the southern or western walls as a storage area.
